WANFEI Bone Conduction Headphones

  • Model Name: BS01
  • Form Factor: Over Ear

  • Connectivity Technology: Wireless

Unboxing

WANFEI manufactures professional-grade smart headphones. I bought it to review, and upon unboxing, I received a WANFEI Bone conduction headphones, a Manual, a USB cable, and a storage bag.

Review

WANFEI Bone Conduction Headphones are the first best-budget bone conduction headphones on our list. My first impression of these headphones was exciting because of their unorthodox design. One thing that stood out to me was these headphones’ lightweight and stable fit. Weighing only 26 grams and made of premium soft silicone material,

The next thing I tested was the connectivity, the Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity offers a reliable and stable connection to your smartphone or tablet. But Wireless Bone Conduction Headphones offer the same Bluetooth technology for under 30 bucks. And these headphones only have one multi-function button to control all functions, making them easy to use.

They were good in sound quality because, in my music listening, the reduced natural sound leakage, clear mid and high frequencies, and good bass response were effective. Additionally, the built-in microphone enables clearer phone calls, which is an excellent feature if you need to take calls while on the go.

These WANFEI Bone Conduction Headphones have an IP55 Waterproof rating, which makes them fully sweat-proof and waterproof, ideal for training, fitness, and running. Also, due to the materials’ quality, these headphones can withstand various physical activities. However, these headphones have a rating of IP55, so swimming with them is impossible.

When I tested the battery, I found out that the WANFEI Bone Conduction Bluetooth Headphones have a 165mAh battery that provides up to 7 hours of non-stop music or podcast playback. This impressive feature allows me to enjoy my favorite music or podcast without worrying about battery life.

In terms of charging, you don’t have to worry about anything as it can be charged using any micro USB charger that you may own.

But wait, below are the reasons to buy and avoid these headphones.

Why should you buy WANFEI Bone Conduction Headphones?

These are some of the Positive aspects we (myself or my team members) have observed while using these Bone conduction headphones so far.

After testing, the main aspect that I can vouch for is the battery life. The battery life of 7 hours works, so if you are looking for optimum battery life, you should buy this.

It comes with only one button to do all the functions. So, you have to remember the pattern and do different tasks. Surely it is not difficult; instead, it is more convenient to locate and use compared to more than one button.

It was a pleasant surprise for me to use these headphones while driving. Since one button is very convenient, taking calls, skipping music, and increasing and decreasing the volume was easy. You will get a storage bag to keep these headphones and other accessories safe while not in use.

Why should you not buy WANFEI Bone Conduction Headphones?

These are some of the Negative aspects we (myself or my team members) have observed while using these bone-conduction headphones so far.

Because they are made of Silicon and also flexible, large heads may have some issues regarding fitting.

If you are looking for budget bone headphones for swimming, these are not for swimming.

Final Verdict

They were impressive concerning battery life and durability. So if you are looking for the best budget bone conduction headphones under 50, this is your go-to option to rely on.

Pros
• Ideal battery backup of 7 hours
• Good sound quality with surround sound
• IP55 waterproof rating
• Bluetooth 5.0 for clear sound
• Deep bass and less vibration
• Made of silicone, very lightweight
• Microphone included
Cons
• No ear plugs included
• Not for swimming

Shokz OpenRun

Shokz OpenRun Pro review

Key Features

  • Brand: SHOKZ
  • Model Name: OpenRun
  • Form Factor: Over Ear
  • Color: Black
  • Connectivity Technology: Bluetooth

Unboxing

Who doesn’t know Shokz? Shokz is one of the most reliable Bone conduction manufacturers. I always use the Shokz products, and to test another one, I ordered Shokz OpenRun. I received the package, and upon unboxing, I got OpenRun Headphones, Carrying Bag, and Magnetic Charging Cable.

Review

As an audiophile, I had huge expectations connected with Shokz OpenRun, and upon first glance, I was impressed by the sturdiness and premium feel it provides. I have been using Shokz OpenMove, and this gives a better feel than that.

Although Shokz OpenRun bone conduction headphones do not fall in the budget category, these are the best on this list, although we keep these in Editor’s choice.

If your budget is about $130, you should stay with these. There are a lot of reasons; let’s discuss them.

Since the Shokz OpenRun Headphones are equipped with a titanium spring band, there is enough room for your helmet to fit comfortably on your head when wearing them. This band is minimally intrusive over the ears, so you can still wear your glasses while wearing the headphones.

Considering the sound quality, Shokz’s PremiumPitch 2.0+ can compare to the quality of in-ear headphones. Despite this, the sound quality won’t be outstanding. Using a noise-canceling microphone in the headphones makes it possible to eliminate background noises so that you can answer your phone call without interruption.

Aside from that, in case the weather outside is stormy, the OpenRun headphones are certified IP67, which means that they can withstand being submerged in 1 meter of water for up to 40 minutes without losing any performance or damage anyway.

Upon testing it for its battery life, the 8-hour battery life was a decent length for most of my workouts, and the quick charge feature allows for a full charge in just two hours. However, the battery life might not last as long as advertised if used at higher volumes. It goes the same as Open Move or OpenComm, but you can get better battery life in Shokz OpenRun Pro, which offers 10 hours.

When we are about to go outdoors for any activity where we need headphones, we realize the headphones are not charged. Don’t worry; with these headphones, you get about an hour of battery backup with only ten minutes of charging.

As a bonus, it is also important to point out that the magnetic charging port includes a moisture sensor, which is a helpful extra feature. Therefore, the USB charging LED will illuminate if the headphones are moist when charged. This is a warning that the headphones are wet and must be air-dried immediately.

Why should you buy Shokz OpenRun?

These are some of the Positive aspects we (myself or my team members) have observed while using these Bone conduction headphones so far.

With an IP67 rating, these headphones are ideal for swimming, in the shower, and any activity where water exists. These are made of flexible titanium material, so they never are uncomfortable for you. No matter how big or small your head size is.

I have been using them all day, and they always satisfy me regarding battery backup.

Why should you not buy Shokz OpenRun?

These are some of the Negative aspects we (myself or my team members) have observed while using these bone-conduction headphones so far.

While these bone headphones have decent sound quality, if you are a music lover looking for headphones that sound the best, you may find them different from your liking.

These headphones are good for making phone calls, but the microphone quality could be better for business conferences or virtual meetings.

Final Verdict

With IPX67- highly waterproof rating, great battery life, optimum sound quality- it’s still slightly higher than budget options. Although the audio experience and premium feel they bring, you can not get in other headphones.

Pros
• Ideal battery backup
• Waterproof and can be used for swimming
• PremiumPitch 2.0+ feature is added to improve sound quality
• Fast charging is included
• Moisture detection sensor is added
• Lightweight and very comfortable
• Exceptional design and built
Cons
• Pricey

9 Digital Bone Conduction Headphones

9 digital Bone Conduction Headphones Bluetooth

Key Features

  • Brand: 9 DIGITAL
  • Model Name: Lite
  • Form Factor: Over Ear
  • Color: Blue
  • Connectivity Technology: Wireless

Unboxing

9 Digital Bone conduction headphones have innovation and a novel approach. With these thoughts, I bought these Bone conduction Headphones to test and received a package. Upon unboxing, I got the Bone conduction headset, Micro USB charging cable, Sponge earplugs, and User manual.

Review

My first impression of these headphones was very satisfactory; the look and design were awesome as these were not cheap headphones from any aspect. In terms of weight, these 9 Bone conduction headphones are lightweight and the titanium alloy that is used in the construction of these headphones makes them lightweight and durable.

What I liked the most about the design was the rotation; you can rotate in all directions 360 degrees without causing any damage to the structural integrity of the headphones. In addition, the flexible silicone material on the zygomatic Bone will allow you to wear the device for a prolonged period without discomfort.

Regarding testing the sound quality, the Bone conduction listening was optimum, not good or bad. The situational awareness was there, but the sound quality could have been quieter

and clearer.

Regarding connectivity, I am impressed by the Bluetooth 5.0, Qualcomm 8635 technology, and built-in mic features of these headphones. The wireless connection is stable, and the information transmission speed is fast but less than the Monster Aria Free Open Ear Headphones that bring Bluetooth 5.3 in almost the same price range.

Our analysis showed that these headphones could stand by for up to 480 hours, play music for 6.5 hours, and allow for eight hours of talk time, which is impressive.

Moreover, these headphones come with a USB charger cable, two sponge earplugs, and an instruction manual to guide you through these headphones, their various functions, and how they work.

The waterproof and lightweight design of these headphones is also a great feature. They are IP54 waterproof and sweatproof, which makes them prone to damage to the headphones when I’m running, cycling, or working out, but I rely more on my choice of Panadia Bone Conduction Headphones with IPX7, which is a great thing.

If you are in a noisy place and wish to sit for a while, it is advisable to wear sponge earplugs during this time, as the sponge absorbs the sound and prevents the outer sound from distracting you.

Why should you buy 9 Digital Bone Conduction Headphones?

These are some of the Positive aspects we (myself or my team members) have observed while using these bone-conduction headphones so far.

Regarding battery life, there is no doubt that these headphones offer some of the best battery life on the market. My headphones are usually used 8 hours a day at work, and I have never experienced any battery problems. In addition to that, these headphones also charge fast.

Initially, I was still determining the sound quality and comfort (both for calls and audiobooks). There was more than I expected from them.

This pair of lightweight headphones are easy to wear, lightweight, and won’t stuff your ears in any way. You can hear what the other person is saying when talking to you. It is also possible to use these headphones while traveling or driving.

Why should you not buy 9 Digital Bone Conduction Headphones?

These are some of the Negative aspects we (myself or my team members) have observed while using these bone-conduction headphones so far.

The small button used to make or receive phone calls can be very bothersome because it is placed next to the one for turning the headphones on and off.

As far as sound quality is concerned, if you are a music lover, you might have a problem; it doesn’t have the deep bass you usually look for when listening to music. These are appropriate for casual music listening, calls, or audiobooks.

Final Verdict

After using various Bone conduction headphones with sweat resistance, lightweight, and battery life of around 6 hours, I rate them as one of the budget headphones under 50.

Pros
• Most inexpensive on this list
• Very good battery back at low price range
• Earplugs and charging cable is included
• Bluetooth 5.0 for effective and flawless connectivity
• Lightweight and flexible to accommodate different head sizes
Cons
• Less bass

  • Brand: MOING
  • Model Name: BS01
  • Form Factor: Over Ear
  • Color: Black
  • Connectivity Technology: Wireless

Unboxing

The MOING Wireless Bone Conduction headphones offer a unique listening experience with high-fidelity sound quality. It comes with MOING Wireless Bone Conduction headphones, a charging cable, earplugs, and a user manual.

Review

The reflective strips were my first impression of MOING Wireless Bone Conduction headphones. You can stay visible at night by wearing headphones with highly reflective strips on the neckband and both sides.

Aside from being comfortable and safe, open-ear headphones allow you to hear sounds around you while listening to your favorite music, thus minimizing the risk of danger associated with headphones.

These headphones also come with the latest QCC Chipset, which enables them to provide good sound quality, along with various levels of stability, and offers a combination of low leakage audio and various other benefits.

I was also impressed by the advanced Bluetooth 5.0 chip that ensures a strong and fast connection with all my devices. Plus, the wireless design meant no more annoying cable messes, and they were easily compatible with my smartwatch, tablet, and iOS and Android devices. Alternatively, the CHENSIVE Bone Conduction Headphones bring out the 5.3 Bluetooth Chip for more stability at about the same price point. So, choose accordingly.

The battery backup was great for my everyday routine. With a 5 to 6-hour period of music and talk time, I could enjoy my favorite tunes and take important calls without worrying about running out of battery.

The lightness and flexibility of titanium neckbands are ideal for prolonged usage since they don’t cause fatigue. Furthermore, the benefit of listening to music with open ears is that the earphones won’t be plugged into your ear canal, which is harmless and painless.

Moreover, it helps prevent allergies by maintaining a clean and hygienic environment and keeping ear canals free from bacteria. As a side note, the headphones also comply with CVC 8.0 standards, ensuring that you can make clearer phone calls by using these headphones.

It is also worth noting that, being IP56 waterproof, these headphones can withstand sweat, moisture, water droplets, and dust, which is ideally suited for a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities.

Overall, at a low price point, you should consider these bone headphones with many value-for-money features.

Why should you buy Moing Wireless Bone Conduction Headphones?

These are some of the Positive aspects we (myself or my team members) have observed while using these bone-conduction headphones so far.

These headphones have good sound quality, transmit well, and have a decent battery backup for under 50 dollars. They are also incredibly compact, lightweight, and smaller than over-ear headphones.

Regardless of how close or far I was to my phone, these headphones worked without a problem. In a congested Wi-Fi or Bluetooth area, the device transmission distance is approximately 50 feet, while outside, it is about 100 feet. If I stood 50 feet away from my phone, it wouldn’t matter, but I wouldn’t.

It worked and looked good despite some rainy days and some drops. Therefore, these are undoubtedly the Best Budget Bone conduction headphones.

Why should you not buy Moing Wireless Bone Conduction Headphones?

These are some of the Negative aspects we (myself or my team members) have observed while using these bone-conduction headphones so far.

At under $50, you can not expect a premium grade product; as I mentioned in the beginning, these headphones have everything but average.

So, although you will get decent everything, don’t compare these with any other premium bone conduction headphones.

Pros
• IP56 waterproof rating
• latest QCC Chipset
• good battery backup
• Best for physical activities
• Come with earplugs
• compliant with CVC 8.0 standards
• Easy to setup and use
Cons
• Not for swimming
• Relatively heavy

Unboxing

Shokz is termed a pioneer of Bone Conduction headphones and the market leader. Upon unboxing, I received Shokz OpenMove Headphones, a Carrying Bag, and a USB-C Charging Cable.

Review

As an avid user of Shokz, I was thrilled to try out the Shokz OpenMove headphones, and they exceeded my expectations. The headphones were incredibly lightweight, coming in at just 29g. The Secure Fit design ensures they stay comfortably in place, no matter what activity I do, like my workout and skateboarding routine.

While testing the sound quality, I was amazed by the 7th Gen Bone Conduction Technology delivered an unparalleled listening experience, allowing me to enjoy my music without sacrificing situational awareness or safety.

As their name suggests, the Shokz OpenMove Bluetooth headphones are made specifically for sports. Undoubtedly, these bone-conduction headphones are some of the best budget headphones on the market for athletes of any level.

While walking or running, the headphones are quite stable, but if you do more vigorous exercises such as burpees or jumping, you might find the neck strap hitting your neck and displacing the headphones.

However, if the volume reaches a high level (approximately 85%), you may also feel strong vibrations tickling your ears and the sound may become distorted. Even though your ear canal is exposed, you can hear what is happening around you.

In terms of connectivity, these headphones can be connected to two different devices simultaneously, which makes switching between devices much easier. So, if you connect to a single device, you will get seamless connectivity even with distractions.

One of the standout features of the Shokz OpenMove headphones was the IP55 Water Resistance certification. They were great in water, dust, and sweat, making them perfect for outdoor activities or intense workouts. On the contrary, I have tried Hamuti Bone Conduction Headphones that come with IPX68, and I was impressed with the results.

I was also impressed with the battery life of up to 6 hours, which lasted me through a full day of use, and the quick charge feature was a game-changer, allowing me to get an hour of use with just a 10-minute charge. This headphone’s main selling point is its USB-C charging port, a more modern way to charge it quickly.

To conclude, the AfterShokz OpenMove headphones are one of the best headphones you can choose if you plan outdoor running since they allow you to hear what’s happening around you while you’re running or doing any physical activity.

Why should you buy Shokz OpenMove?

These are some of the Positive aspects we (myself or my team members) have observed while using these Bone conduction headphones so far.

The best thing about these headphones is that they balance quality and price well. Despite their low price, their design is premium.

Nowadays, every mobile device has a USB Type-C port. These headphones also have a Type-C port. That’s great because you won’t need to haul around multiple cables.

The battery backup of this device is good for its price, and most people will find it ideal. Additionally, they offer great sound quality, so you won’t have any reason to be disappointed with these headphones at all.

Why should you not buy Shokz OpenMove?

These are some of the Negative aspects we (myself or my team members) have observed while using these Bone conduction headphones so far.

If you are looking to do swimming, you should look for other headphones on this list. It is important to note that although these headphones can endure light sweat and light splashes of water, we do not recommend submerging them in water.

The headphones also tend to vibrate heavily when their volume has been set to its maximum level, leading to headaches for some.

Final Verdict

The battery life of 6 hours(tested) and 7th generation Bone conduction technology with lightweight design and an IPX55 rating makes it the best budget Bone Conduction headphones under 100.

Pros
• Flexible and comfortable
• Ideal sound quality
• Good battery backup
• Best for any physical activity
• USB-C port and fast charging
• Loud sound
Cons
• Not waterproof, not for swimming

AfterShokz Titanium

AfterShokz Titanium review

Key Features

  • Brand: Aftershokz
  • Model Name: AfterShokz Titanium
  • Form Factor: Open Ear
  • Color: Black
  • Connectivity Technology: Bluetooth

Unboxing

AfterShokz Titanium is one of the key Bone Conduction headphones in the market. Like other Shokz products, I had high hopes for it and ordered a test. After unboxing, I found Titanium Headphones, Drawstring Carrying Case, USB Charging Cables, and Earplugs.

Review

My first impression was very intriguing as the soft and top-grade reputation of Shokz comes first. The design was unique, undoubtedly, as these headphones come with a low-profile design and are a little heavier than Aeropex; who doesn’t know about that? The AfterShokz Titanium Bone Headphones are designed to provide the best sound experience at a budget range without compromising quality.

As a user of AfterShokz headphones for a long time, I was looking for powerful sound quality, and without a surprise, I was impressed with the sound quality that these headphones provide. The PremiumPitch technology delivers a wide dynamic range and rich bass that immerses me in my music.

One of the standout features of these headphones is the LeakSlayer technology. It significantly reduces natural sound leakage, meaning the audio is contained within the headphones, and I’m not disturbing those around me. This is especially important when I’m in public places or working in a shared space.

There is an easy multipoint pairing feature on these Bluetooth 4.1 headphones and compatibility with nearly any device I have. On the other hand, I have been using Relxhome Bone Conduction Headphones, which are better in connectivity as they come with 5.3 Bluetooth and are just below 80 bucks.

I appreciate the ability to enjoy music without sacrificing situational awareness, as the OpenFit design ensures my ears remain completely open to ambient sounds. The low-profile headband of these headphones acts as a spring, preventing the headphones from moving around as you move around as the band wraps around your head to enhance sound quality.

The weather resistance of these headphones, certified as IP55, makes them ideal for workouts and outdoor activities as they repel sweat, dust, and moisture. Furthermore, these headphones have a 6-hour battery life, making it possible to listen to music and make phone calls throughout the day.

Why should you buy AfterShokz Titanium?

These are some of the Positive aspects we (myself or my team members) have observed while using these bone-conduction headphones so far.

Most users (casual listeners) will be more than satisfied with the audio quality in most cases.

If you wear glasses and a helmet, you can easily wear these headphones with them. All you have to do is put them ON after you have put your other gear on.

With their bone conduction technology and OpenFit design, these headphones deliver music through your cheekbones, keeping your ears open to ambient sounds.

They also feature LeakSlayer technology to significantly reduce natural sound leakage, Bluetooth connectivity, weather resistance, and long battery life, making them perfect for on-the-go audio.

Undoubtedly, even people with large heads could wear this headset for extended periods without discomfort. I greatly appreciate that these bone headphones charge quickly and easily.

Why should you not buy AfterShokz Titanium?

These are some of the Negative aspects we (myself or my team members) have observed while using these Bone conduction headphones so far.

Suppose you’re looking for headphones that offer complete noise isolation. In that case, the AfterShokz Titanium may not be the best option, as their bone conduction technology still allows ambient noise to be heard.

The microphone does not do a good job when it comes to handling wind noise and background noise. The microphone will likely be drowned out whenever the wind blows at speeds greater than 5-8 MPH while cycling or walking. So, these headphones are fine for walking but not for cycling.

Final Verdict

The AfterShokz Titanium headphones are great for those who value situational awareness and high-quality sound. Their bone conduction technology, OpenFit design, and LeakSlayer technology are perfect for on-the-go audio.

Pros
• LeakSlayer technology included to reduce sound leakage
• PremiumPitch feature for best sound quality
• Ideal battery backup at reasonable price
• Easy to war with helmet and glasses
• For comfortable for all head sizes
• Can be connected to any Bluetooth-enabled device
• Microphone included
Cons
• Old Bluetooth technology used

AfterShokz Air

Key Features

  • Brand: Aftershokz
  • Model Name: AS650SG
  • Form Factor: Over Ear
  • Color: Slate Grey
  • Connectivity Technology: Wired

Unboxing

If you have already used and tested Shokz headphones, you must know that they offer premium-quality headsets, and AfterShokz Trekz Air is one of them. There was an AfterShokz Air Open Ear Wireless Bone Conduction Headphones of Slate Grey Color and a manual when I unboxed it.

Review

I was excited to try out the AfterShokz Air headphones, and I was thoroughly impressed by the rich quality it provides. The headphones are lightweight and comfortable to wear in terms of design and connectivity, making them ideal for long-term use.

When I tested it for the sound quality, it was top-notch, thanks to the PremiumPitch technology that delivers a wide dynamic range and rich bass. The audio is always crystal clear whether I’m listening to my favorite tunes or taking a call.

Further, the Bluetooth v4.2 connectivity ensures I can stay connected to my device without interruption. The range was upto the mark and great while cycling and running

The IP55 certification also makes them sweat, dust, and moisture-resistant, perfect for workouts and outdoor activities. These headphones are undoubtedly among the best ones you can buy regarding sound quality and durability.

Whether you’re at the gym or work, these headphones sound great. Compared to Shokz Titanium headphones, they sound much fuller but do not match conventional headphones’ quality.

Furthermore, we tested these headphones in a busy area and noticed they didn’t sound good when there was much background noise or wind. Upon turning the volume to a maximum, you will feel that your jawbone will vibrate a little bit, giving you the feeling of a solid tickle on your jawbone.

The EQ settings are another standout feature of these headphones, allowing me to customize the sound to my liking. I can boost the bass and reduce vibration on the go, which is perfect for working out or focusing on my work.

Regarding battery backup, they can give you just six hours of use which is fine but up to the mark. However, a quick-charging mode is available on the Aftershokz Air, which allows it to be fully charged in 15 minutes and can last for an hour.

I would rather go for Mojawa Wireless Bone Conduction Headphones that offer better Bluetooth technology of about 5.3 and 8 hours of battery life. So, look for these suggestions also to further decide. But for sound quality and durability for Shokz Air, Mojawa and other options are open for the price point.

Why should you buy AfterShokz Air?

These are some of the Positive aspects we (myself or my team members) have observed while using these Bone Conduction headphones so far.

They offer premium sound quality with PremiumPitch technology, bone conduction technology, and OpenFit design that ensures situational awareness.

The headphones are also durable and weather-resistant, with an IP55 certification, a battery life of up to six hours, and a standby time of up to 10 days. Additionally, the EQ settings allow customization for boosted bass and reduced vibration.

There is also the option to wear sunglasses and a helmet when using the Aftershokz Air.

Why should you not buy AfterShokz Air?

These are some of the Negative aspects we (myself or my team members) have observed while using these Bone conduction headphones so far.

The battery backup of these headphones is a major drawback. Although you get fast charging for 6 hours at about a 100-dollar price could be better.

If you are willing to swim, these headphones are not waterproof for submerging.

Final Verdict

If you are looking for premium quality Bone headphones while pushing your budget a little more, these are the best Bone conduction headphones under 200. The sound quality and Durability are two main reasons for me.

Pros
• Exceptionally comfortable and flexible
• Very good sound quality
• Fast charging included
• Loud sound
• Lightweight
• Sweat and dust proof
Cons
• Average battery backup, considering price
• Not waterproof

Conclusions

Although all given headphones on the list are the best budget bone conduction headphones the most important factor is your budget. If you don’t want to compromise and want to have the best under $80 AfterShokz Titanium should be your first choice.

However, if your budget is less than $50, 9 Digital Bone Conduction Headphones are best for you. If you ask about my personal best, I will go for Shokz OpenRun.
